Geek Review: Audio Technica ATH-M50XSTS-USB Streaming Headset

Streaming gear is what every other company is churning out these days, whether it’s microphones, webcam cameras and for Audio Technica, a streaming headset.

The latest headset from Audio Technica, the ATH-M50XSTS-USB Streaming Headset, aims to address the needs of live-streaming content creators and after giving it a shot, we find that it is worth every dollar spent.

For starters, the ATH-M50XSTS headset is paired with the 20 Series microphones that are well known for their renowned clarity. It also comes with proprietary 45 mm large-aperture drivers and a flexible boom arm that keeps your microphone in position near your mouth. If clarity and deep, accurate bass response is what you’re looking for, then the ATH-M50XSTS will deliver.

Most importantly, the headset is incredibly comfortable to wear, even after having it on for over three hours straight. As great as it is, we wish that the headset came with volume control and the option to switch between USB, XLR, and Quarter Inch Adapter.

The Audio Technica ATH-M50XSTS headset retails for S$278 for the XLR headset and S$318 for the USB headset.
